PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE
Hello MALP Members ,
It was wonderful seeing so many of you at this year ’ s Fall Field Day ! We are incredibly proud of the collaboration between MALP and the MAA in delivering such a highcaliber event to our members and the green industry .
Your Board of Directors has been hard at work designing a strategy that will foster growth and increase the value of MALP membership . As we move forward , we ’ ve identified four key pillars that will guide our efforts in the coming year :
• Education & Information
• Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy
• Professionalism & Certification
• Communication & Connection
While we ’ ve already achieved a great deal with our current members , a recently approved bylaws amendment allows us to expand the number of people on the board . We are excited to welcome MCLP committee members Mike Landry , MCLP , Matt McCoy , MCLP , and Katie Merrifield , MCLP , as new directors for 2025 . Our 2024 officers will continue in their current roles . We are confident that this great group of leaders will further strengthen our association .
As the saying goes , " many hands make light work ." We ’ ll be counting on your suggestions and support to help elevate our profession even further . Your feedback is always welcome and appreciated .
I look forward to seeing you at the MALP OnSite at Unilock on October 18 , and at MALP ’ s Annual Meeting at The German Club on November 12 .
