the campaign will span from the 1980s right up until the future of 2025.
you will play as alex mason from the original black ops. in the futuristic setting you will play as david mason, his son.
the us futuristic unmanned drones have been taken over by raul menendez, the antagonist. we will see how he changes from loyal soldier to villain as the game progresses.
in the future of 2025, we see that china is now the worlds superpower and has possession of over 95% of earths natural resources. thus begins the new cold war.
campaign will allow more freedom by taking place in sandbox environments instead of typical linear maps. players are also given choices through strike force missions that can completely change the games plot.
you are able to control different soldiers as well as vehicles or drones to give a whole new perspective to the battlefield.
future technology includes xray scanners, CLAW mech tanks, quadrator drones, wrist computers, tilt jets, stealth bombers and of course guns with massive attachments.
pistols have QR codes on them, though we have no idea why yet.
