Founded in 1999
Sony Computer Entertainment's Japan Studio represents Sony's internal development group and the creators of some of Sony's most iconic games. The Tokyo-based studio not only develops original projects for the PlayStation platforms but also assists other studios with their processes.
Japan Studio includes the legendary Team ICO group, the staff responsible for ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and -- most recently -- The Last Guardian.
