I sped through the mist; oh, how potent it smelled.
Almost fogging the terrors I’d previously held…
But from the large fruit, there now came no sound;
I could see bits of banana-skin all over the ground.
This sight, in a second, had me rather worried,
so I guessed the direction, and that way, I hurried.
I found him shredded and thought he’d been beaten…
But soon it was obvious that he’d just been eaten.
Then all of a sudden, the air started to clear,
and a soft buzzing sound quickly drew near.
Then a voice from above, ‘Are you after some E’?’
I looked up to a woman with the wings of a bee.
I said, ‘Can you help me? On this island I’m stranded.’
On the red sand beside me, she gently landed.
She said, ‘You don’t like it? But the drugs are free,’
and then gave me a large bag of ecstasy.
I said, ‘That’s very kind. For a while, I could stay,
but I’ll have to go some time; can you show me the way?’
She smiled showing teeth that were perfect and white,
and said, ‘Sure… I can take you, but it’ll be a long flight.
And it may be a while before we can go;
lots of drugs to deliver, and, well, you know?’
She had bright green eyes and dark, curly hair;
And white, skin-tight clothes with her mid-rif bare.
I sighed saying, ‘I guess that I should wait here.’
She laughed saying, ‘That could be dangerous my dear.
There’s lots of bad things here, I’m sure you now know…
But don’t worry, I know a safe place you can go.
It’s just down the beach, in a cave on your right.
You’ll be alright in there.’ With that, she took flight.
So off I went running across the red sand,
with a large bag of E’s swinging in my left hand.
