30 Things to do in July

that I'm sure you haven't thought of.

Exercise outside. Doing this doubles up on your productivity. You're getting fit, selling yourself a little bit, soaking up sun and taking in your local area. You might even inspire someone you've just met to take their fitness into account.

1.

Go camping. July is a great month for camping simply because the whole environment is open to explore and appreciate. The fauna is out, the flora is up and the whole world seems proud of you for trying to get closer to it.

Build an outdoor theater. Take a white sheet and hang it up, find a projector, and hook your media device up to it for a killer venue that's cheap and easy to clean up. The floor won't get sticky from spills and the A/C won't cost a ton so it's low cost and easy maintenance which has always been a good investment.

Learn about astronomy. Look at the stars! In the heated center of summer time the stars always look more brilliant. Perhaps it has something to do with the purple sky at dusk forming a glorious foreground or maybe the hanging moisture makes a perfect magnifying lens, either way the stars in July are magical.

Go to some concerts. Imagine a group of small children cascading down a mountain of chocolate. They seem like they're having a lot of fun don't they? That's what concerts are like in July. Do it.

Go bird watching. Birds are complex and simple creatures that fly in ways only explained in poetry. You can get easily lost in the drama of their flights throughout the day and arrive at a very basic level of peace by doing this.

Go to a farmer's market. Fresh produce, exotic meat, fancy herbs, spices and a happy crowd willing to offer great deals are what you'll find there.
