The system admired as the main driver of the economic miracle that is America and defined the ethos of the‘ American Dream’ is being turned into an insular American nightmare as all American institutions are under attack by Americans.
The shock waves are global and many countries that looked up to America as the natural moral compass in democratic ideals are thrown into mayhem as they try to contain the unraveling internal dissent with a collapsing model.
What makes the whole situation in America absolutely bizarre is that the whole world seems to be watching a Hollywood reality show where there is drama within a drama and the twists and turns of the plot is now mind-boggling.
This popular MAGA leader whose base went along and voted him into office although he is an indicted felon with a pending thirtyfour criminal cases and they even tried to help him overturn a legitimate election in the January sixth uprising, is now at a political crossroad.
The rest of the world is astounded and confounded by the American public’ s obsession and fascination with the Epstein Files which has become the center of all American conversation and conduct. Even the president cannot deflect from it.
It is not that the American people are not aware that their president has a dubious and criminal past, they know, but they seem to be caught in macabre movie where they all want to know what is in the Epstein Files.
This cliffhanger of a reality show is the biggest political threat that the president has had to face and to the rest of the world, it just doesn’ t make sense and can only be rationalized by a country raised with a fantasy movie mindset.
To Americans, the movie is more real than reality and for many of them that is where they want to live and the next episode in their presidential series is the release of the Epstein Files and they are not going to be distracted from it.
One can feel the growing frustration of a president that has had to intervene to even have comedians sacked because they are keeping the Epstein hype alive as this has captured the American psyche more than the presidential antics.
One just has to wonder what type of a cult following Americans have on movies that they don’ t recognize the political abyss that their country is plummeting into as they allow a madman to entertain them just for viewership ratings.
On second thoughts, this is the country that romanticized the cowboy in the Western Movies when lawlessness was rampant and the fastest gun drawer was the hero. Americans admire and are fascinated by gun-toting criminals.
That fascination with guns has endured as most Americans have been raised with a background of violence and crime; the confederate wars, the lynching of blacks, McCarthyism, the Mafia scourge, the urban gang violence and the list goes on.
Despite the mounting evidence that the American gun laws are what the Americans need to urgently address, it has proved impossible to pass gun control laws, so the land of the brave and free is simultaneously the land of crime and death.
It is ironical that what might actually eventually save democracy in America might be the fact that they elected a reality show president, who spoke their twisted language but the president has forgotten that he has to follow their script.
It is apparent that it is not the president that has launched an assault on democracy but a cabal of sinister operatives that realize that democracy denies them the power to oppress the masses and the mass media control by the billionaire class is indicative of the problem.
The president’ s buffoonish bluster is tolerated because he is arrogant enough to voice what the average American cannot morally verbalize and claim to still uphold democratic ideals, but is actually the majority talking and that, paradoxically, is how democracy works.
It is not democracy that has failed but human nature that is at fault. There are those in America that are craving the‘ apartheid’ era and are trying to impose superiority by race as it is quite evident that the white race is not superior by ability.
There are men of goodwill in America who have noted how democracy has been threatened by a selfish minority and the constitution allows amendments and it might well be that the Epstein Saga becomes an ironical footnote in the preservation of democracy.
In their hour of need, American found leaders that helped them overcome the challenges of the American dark hours and hopefully a leader shall arise to wake the Americans from this self-destructive reality show.
