There is no trade that is beneath success and no vocation is greater than the other . Excel in your trade by using a work plan . The plan should be to give solutions in the most cost-effective manner .
Grade your output in mater of quantity and quality . Cost your solutions for the value they bring not the emotions of production . Review the processes in your workplan from time to time - this could be your investment plan , bible study plan , family holidays plan whatever it is do your very best . Having a workplan brings clarity and definition to the resources you require including the people for success .
A workplan also becomes the road map that you mark your moves against . This will help you determine corrective measures where you find excesses , omissions or commissions have been indulged .
Build a Community of support
The best insurance is people . Join clubs , saccos , chamas , welfare groups . Above all have few close friends that you do life with . Those with the best values to share . Those with goodwill and Godly ambiance . Those that challenge you to be better . Those that rebuke you in love and hold you accountable . Show up for them and do these and more to them and their
families . This support not only motivates you but challenges you as well . This is not a tit for tat principle but more so a team player approach to a better connected-life .
Accept Change
When life happens look at the bright side of things . In the rain there are great refreshment and release . The mud is a sign of life , the running surface water feeds many other lives downstream . Life is for the living - as we live we therefore need to choose to be exuberant and embrace enthusiasm even in sorrow . Grief yes , mourn too but then shake yourself up and continue living . You can choose to be a grumpy patient or a brave and joyous convalescent ! Those that find the joy in the rain or storm often fight better and conquer .
They also carry along many that would have otherwise perished in desperate times and or situations . Seasons come and go ; always remember we have four different seasons in life , we may never dictate how and when they occur . As such it is imperative that we embrace each season and squeeze the very best out of them .
Celebrate Life
Start by celebrating yourself . The simple and complex wins in our day to day lives . The rewarding self-appreciation every week or month should be a tradition . Remember we are not guaranteed of days
as our lives are fleeting and borrowed breath of God . Be kind to yourself when life happens contrary to your plan . Build others up - true many may never come back to give thanks but be sure in full circle those good deeds come back to us and follow our generations to come . Create golden moments with family , friends and colleagues . Those celebratory moments linger on and have a way of pushing us and our goals forward .
Changing the course of one ’ s life is always a gradual process . These pointers help give clarity and purpose to our actions . Each day becomes a stepping stone towards our dream and also builds into other peoples ’ lives especially those in our corner as colleagues , friends and family . Where possible buy knowledge in the form of life coaches , business coaches and or career coaches . Wisdom is expensive and the goal is to have enough to make lasting impact that preserves life beyond ourselves . Be intentional and consistent .
