In some situations , one may need to work with a therapist to correct wrongly held , deep seated beliefs . Being overly concerned about what others think of you , thinking that you are not good enough or talented

enough , fear of failure , fear of success , amongst others are things that can be genuinely debilitating in making efforts to advance in life and career .

The one encouragement I can offer is that confidence is a muscle that can be built over time . Additionally , just start ! Whatever you have created , put together or developed does not need to be perfect . In summary , I am reminded of the parable of the talents in the Bible specifically in Matthew 25 . Two servants were found faithful as they were able to increase the talents in their care . One servant though was chastised because rather than making the choice to increase his talent , he hid it . The master was disappointed and went as far as taking away this servant ’ s one talent .

We are all here gifted with something . Share what you have been blessed with , other people need it , and it is edifying . Speak of what you can do for others so that they know and can give you an opportunity . In the end when giving an account to the Master , He will be proud .
