keep eating unhealthy foods , we may be reinforcing negative beliefs and intentions about ourselves at the subconscious level . Ideally , a healthy internal environment and core beliefs should be established to drive us to choose foods that support and nurture our bodies . However , so many of us have limiting beliefs and programming that are keeping us stuck in the unhealthy behaviors . When we habitually think about food in a way that creates excitement and pleasurable sensations , it makes food seem wonderfully fun and special , and this can leave us in an emotionally charged trance of sorts . Without realizing it , we slip into another state of consciousness , where seeing the whole truth about food is impossible . Until the internal blueprint is drastically changed , sticking to healthy habits may be very challenging .
On the other hand , we can use food as a tool to consciously show love for ourselves . There ’ s a very different feeling between thoughtfully preparing a healthy meal and shoveling down some fast food or prepackaged snack items . It actually does take mindful effort to eat in a loving way if we ’ ve grown accustomed to seeking out pleasure from food without regard to

Our pleasure-seeking obsession is destroying our mental , physical , and spiritual well-being . Searching for pleasure in smoking , drinking , or eating unhealthy foods wastes our fragile short lives , not to mention exposing us to a host of diseases that are directly related to our pleasurable lifestyle . Pleasure is an experience ; happiness is a chosen path of a lifetime . our health .

It takes focus and effort to eat differently , but you should be doing so to start to build healthy behaviors motivated at least by a desire to treat yourself differently than you did for the first few decades of your life . Glorifying food is a habit of believing that we need it to be happy and to feel good . But we don ' t .
As we examine our beliefs about food and discover the truth , we realize that we must distinguish “ false pleasures ” which promise immediate gratification but produce longterm pain from “ true happiness ” which is intense and long lasting .
