DETAILS: 4-H Shutter Bug Youth Camp provides an introduction on camera settings, composition and taking photos of flora and vegetation using natural light. Participants will be working in groups with a "Safari Guide" to capture outdoor images on a photo scavenger hunt through Mercer Gardens

EVENT: Businesses in Development (B.I.D) Certification Program
DETAILS: The Certification Academy is a 12-week program designed to provide research-based instruction to Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) in the State of Texas. In coordination with the State of Texas Comptroller's Office and input from purchasing agents across the state, Prairie View A&M University CEP developed a strict curriculum that teaches small business how to successfully identify and complete bid contracts with private and public agencies across the state. Our goal is to equip small businesses with the knowledge and network that will allow them to access over $2 Billion spent with Historically Underutilized Businesses.
