STEP 3 :
Complete the look by tying a belt or length of coloured cord around the waist to hold the fabric in place .
STEP 4 :
With the stola , fold the sheet in half long-side to long-side . Put the sheet round the back of you . Hold on to each end . Pull the sheet tightly around you and then lift the two ends over the head and knot at the back of the neck .
STEP 5 :
Again , add a belt or cord around your waist and adjust the length needed by pulling some of the sheet up over the belt as a tuck . o

WINNING BONUS
Why not add a Roman victors ’ head wreath to celebrate your success ?
Take a strip of thin card about 6 cm wide . Put it round the head so it fits comfortably , staple the ends together and cut off any surplus card .
Draw a large leaf shape to act as a template , make a series of leaves and cut them out carefully .
Paint the leaves green to give a plant effect or gold if you really want to show you ’ re the best . Let the leaves dry .
Stick the leaves carefully onto the card headband in matching pairs , slightly overlapping each other . Now , take a bow !
