Cabo Blue Food Review

Cabo Blue is located in the small town of Fayette, Iowa on the main street. It has a great location because it is located where there are the most people. It has different types of cuisine, but it was mainly American food which who does like American food? I knew of this restaurant from when it was called Victories. But, it had just gotten a new owner, so I was excited to see how it had changed. I had heard of people talking about how good it was and I wanted to try it out myself. So I had very high expectations.
There are many pros and few cons at Cabo Blue. Some cons are that they have great location because of the amount of people that spend time in that area. They had a good amount of workers there so that there isn’t any employees that are swamped. An advantage is some people like the idea of trying or going to see something new. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was great. Everything had great taste and proportions. Some cons are that it took about a half an hour to get our food. It was a little bit longer of a wait than I would have liked but the service and food made up for it. But, other than that, that is really the only bad thing about the restaurant.
I ordered the Peacock Reuben. It came with sweet potato fries or regular fries. I chose regular. The Reuben was served on toasted rye bread with corn beef, American cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and sauerkraut. It was probably the best sandwich I had ever had at a restaurant. The fries were perfectly cooked and were the perfect salty tasting. It had great proportions and it was just great food overall.
Overall, I thought that my visit to Cabo Blue was amazing. It over exceeded my expectations. It wasn’t too busy but it still had quite a few customers. The workers were very polite and patient especially because I had came with a large group of people they were very calm with getting their job done. They all dressed in uniform, which was very appropriate and official. I would definitely recommend taking a visit to Cabo Blue. I can promise that you will not be disappointed. A great place for your family and friends.
