What my research paper is going to be about how could a label signing you be good for you are bad at the same time like what the labels don’t tell you about what they are going to do with your music and like in some story were rappers were sign like the label was taking money from them and they were doing the rappers wrong at all times. And some label were just trying to rob some of these rappers and were not telling them what was going from the start but in other story the label would do right by the rappers like they would pay them all the money they made on there shows and other stuff the rappers would be doing to make them money and that’s what this paper is going to be about like what really happens with the labels and the rappers and take a look from both sides.
What I got from Theguardian.com it was talking about the foams singer Ed Sheeran’s was not sgin to a label when he was droping his music he was on his own because he belived that labels where just going to do you wrong and try rob you of all the money you would make and Ed fault he could do better on his own but he meet with a label he really end up like and he sign to them and he is doing well with them and making a lot of good music still having millions and millions of people watch him on youtube and he was doing good with out a label what wants he got sign it just made him that mach better and he really has some good songs out right now and I also think he has on of the best songs on icould right now.
What I got from Cracked.com it was just talking about how the label finds ways to take money out your poctekt any way they can like if any comanpy used your music in a movie or anything like that they would have to pay the label and not you like if they used it for anything the label would get the money and you would not get anything at all and you would be a prtty bad thing for them to do but they can do that because that’s all in the conant you sign the label could do all that that’s why more and more people are starting to do this music stuff by them self they stop using the label because all the label would do is rob you and take and take till there nothing else they can.
What I got from Giglue.com was and what is was taking was about what goes on with the label about how many reacods you can sell and what that would mean for you and how that could help you stay with the label and help you keep making your music and what the label has to do to keep you music at the top of game and some time it could really be hard for the label some times and if the label are not that good you really have to put your self out there as a rapper and make people wanna work with cause sometimes the label won’t do that sometimes so you have to work really hard for that and you have to be on your job as a rapper In your label cause sometimes the label don’t be doing as they say.
So what I got from Buzfeed.com was a little story from Aylin Zafar and what that little story was just saying on how it is when label won’t release there music and for the artist they are talking about in this little story is a lot of good young singers from back in the day that got sign from a label was not hold there side of the deal up and that’s why a lot of those deal with a lot of those artist did not work out and when that happened the label just want ghost on the artist and left them with nothing at all and some of those artist had to start over with everything they had and had to start with a fresh new label or just do it by them self so what it really is just becareful on what label you sign with that’s all it really is at the end of the day.
