Sometimes it’s not as beautiful as it seems
Sometimes the clouds block the sun
Sometimes the water turns eerie black
Sometimes the waves tower over our heads
Sometimes the lightning is too terrifying to watch
Sometimes the thunder becomes too loud to bear
Sometimes the boat loses its way
Sometimes it’s not as beautiful as it seems
but
nothing is more beautiful than the hope
that tomorrow the sun will shine again
