4. In the position as President I work with others all up and down the East Coast, I have learned that there are many that are having the same budget struggles, the same challenges on leaving school at a reasonable hour.( Rita Moreno is right!) 5. In this particular role I have the opportunity to travel. I have traveled around Maine to visit district festivals. I’ ve seen Washington DC and Atlantic City and Chicago. I like to travel; it is a perk of this job.
If you want to know how you can become involved consider joining Ben Potvin and me as we offer a workshop at All State“ What do NAfME and MMEA have in common: ME”
I am not suggesting you need to be the next MMEA President Elect. I am suggesting that you join us to look at the roles in our village of MMEA. Maybe there is a role that would fit you and in the service of others you too learn to would have the opportunity to see the views of others.
