Choral Sessions

This year , the Choral sessions have a heavy emphasis on our performing ensembles . We will be featuring concerts from Bangor High School , Bonny Eagle High School , Winslow Jr High , and a middle school show choir from the RSU 22 school system . The ACDA Luncheon will feature the combined efforts of Massabesic and Noble High Schools with a teaser performance from Greely High School . Student leadership and arranging by ear will be feature topics within some of our performances .
I am proud to announce we are bringing Amy Beresik all the way from Pennsylvania . Amy is a middle school choral director who also teaches at Duquesne University in the Mary Pappert School of Music . Her two sessions will cover rehearsal planning and painless sight singing technique . Amy has presented in her own state as well as the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division conferences . I know you will all enjoy her sessions .
Finally , it is DIRECTORS CHOIR YEAR !!!! We are bring Dr . Dennis Cox , Professor Emeritus of the University of Maine , back for a thrilling program of music .
