Funding Available!
Funding to support arts education programs is available from the Maine Arts
Commission. Two sources of funding are presently available.
• Deadline for the Dance Education Grant is May 2, 2018
• Ticket to Ride provides funds to pay for bussing to take your students to
learning opportunities in Maine. The program has a revolving deadline.

MAINE ARTS COMMISSION - DANCE EDUCATION GRANT
The Maine Arts Commission
(MAC) dance education grant
provides funding to support
high-quality dance education
during the school day for
PK-12 students and/or
educators in schools where
dance education is not
currently in place. This
funding is meant to inspire
and to exhibit the value of
dance education in Maine.
The grant application needs to include a dance educator from the Maine Arts
Commission Teaching Artist roster. Applications are submitted using the MAC Grants
Management System (GMS). The first step is to create an account.
Funding cycle: September 1, 2018 – March 30, 2019
The maximum grant request is $2,250.
