Most Maine public schools now require teachers to use Google Chrome on school devices. One very exciting thing about this browser is that Chrome has the benefit of endless customization. You can create a Theme unique to your work account so that you remember you’ re logged into your teacher account on your personal machine, and you can download free Apps and Extensions to turn your browser into a video editor, email booster, or productivity manager.
There are thousands of ways to personalize your experience with your browser, but to get you started, here are six particularly cool Extensions for Elementary‐level teachers.
Not mentioned here are the Extensions for social media – Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. If you have school accounts for these platforms, these are also great to add to your toolbar!
