• Steve Grover Tribute, featuring pianist, Mike Beling: Cape Elizabeth
High School
The music community was deeply saddened this summer by the passing of
jazz drummer, com poser, and educator, Steve Grover. Steve had been on
the forefront of the New England jazz scene for many years performing with
his own groups, appearing with high profile jazz artists, and through his
teaching at the University of Maine, Augusta, and festivals throughout the
country. Cape Elizabeth’s annual Jazz Cabaret, planned for late March, will
pay tribute to Steve Grover’s musical legacy. The performance will feature
jazz pianist and USM graduate Michael Beling.
