GRASP - Math and Reading Workbooks ( completed grades K-5 )
Stop the Summer Slide ! A 9-week at-home study and correspondence program for grades K-5 helps students review and maintain reading and math skills while on summer vacation . GRASP is perfect for those who enjoy studying and learning with a workbook . Each student receives their own summer learning packet , which includes workbooks , answer sheets , instructions and pre-addressed envelopes for mail-in grading . Each family will mail in their worksheets weekly for professional grading and assessment . Choose one or both subjects . Students do a little more than one lesson per week . REGISTRATION DEADLINE : APRIL 24 No refunds after registration deadline . Program runs June 9-August 4 $ 44 per packet

So You Want to be a Dog Trainer ( age 9 +)
Train REAL DOGS ! Now is the perfect time to start . Children ages 9-12 are naturally gifted dog trainers . In this class you will learn what animal training careers are out there from dolphins and large cats to dogs . You will learn the basic skills animal trainers use . We will bring the dogs , so you can leave yours at home . If you would like to bring your own dog , your grown-up needs to stay with you and the pup for the entire class . Animal training is a fantastic career , and it lends itself well to neurodivergent brains , but it takes many years to build the skills . Red Cross Babysitter Training ( age 11 +)
Discover the essential universal skills and techniques every babysitter should have . This one-day certification course teaches participants to take care of themselves and others by exploring basic care of infants and children , basic first aid , emergency protocols , home safety , child behavior , developmental milestones , age-appropriate activities , professionalism , leadership and more . We encourage both young men and women to attend this life altering course . Learn and play some of the latest multi-player Table Top Strategy Games ! These include card games & board games . Introduce yourself to deck building , worker placement , and cooperative games . Participants will have some choice of what they want to learn and play , from Settlers of Catan to Exploding Kittens . We have lots of options .
