Magna Carta Graphic Novel
The Museum continued to develop a good working relationship with Heathrow that then
resulted in a commission to produce a Magna Carta graphic novel. Working with our illustrator,
Simon Clark, the graphic novel was produced in just one month and 4,000 copies then
distributed at Heathrow’s terminals that summer and at events the airport sponsored. A free
copy was also given to every pupil starting school at Magna Carta School in 2015. The graphic
novel was then turned into an animated film that was used in the Museum’s exhibition and has
been added to the Magna Carta learning resources page on its website.
