Etmal is a company created in October of 1999 in Gdynia, and which for well over a dozen years has been
active in maritime and shore-based industries. Our company employs highly qualified maritime engineers
and technicians, while the permanent contacts that we maintain with Polish and foreign shipowners help
us to increase the range and quality of the services we offer.
We provide a range of repair and maintenance services:
l General class overhauls, current repairs, dock-bay and maintenance works
l Overhaul of ships, including: bulk carriers, general cargo vessels, tankers and chemical tankers,
container vessels, dredgers, reefer ships, research vessels, ferries and navy vessels
Rebuilding and modernisations, upgrades to new Classifier and IMO regulations
l Platform overhaul and modernisation of cranes and on-board equipment
l Installation of systems and assemblies on new vessels
l General overhaul of shore-based equipment and hydraulic systems

Our company provides 24h service for the following:
l Hoists and winches for anchoring, mooring, loading and towing
l Steering gear of all types
l Cargo and auxiliary cranes
l Hatch covers with equipments
l Hydraulic motors and hydraulic pumps
l Bow Thrusters
l Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
l Fishing and fish processing equipment for fishing boats
l Ballast and bilge systems as well as fuel system and installations
l Hydraulic presses, cylinders, jacks, girder, etc.
l Cooling equipment for vessels and shore installation
l General overhaul of shore-based hydraulic equipment and systems
We also perform crane rocking test and load tests with the Water Bags, during the dry docks and the
normal vessel operation, according the Classifier Society requirements.
Our company supplies and services thrusters by the Dutch Thruster Group and represents the company.
We have fully equipped technical facilities and modern repair workshop.
