Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

I have very low expectations for the future of our band, but hopefully with a third or fourth album for Shrapnel, playing and touring across Europe would be a nice thought too. Also, perhaps I’ll have a full time job which won't affect my time with Shrapnel.

You travel a lot and do a lot of gigs. Has there been a highlight for you?

It has to be one of the most tiring things I've done in my life when travelling to a gig on the other side of Britain, but the highlight would be the last show I performed at London Underworld venue in September. We were the second band on before a popular power metal band called 'PowerQuest'. Backstage I could hear people were chanting 'Shrapnel' over and over. When we came out to the centre stage people were cheering, screaming and headbanging as we blasted through our set, fist pumping and high fiving the crowd between songs (this was actually the first time most of the audience had heard of us). After the show it took me an hour to get to the bar just because I kept getting stopped and praised by everyone I passed! We also sold tons of merch that night and even continued to get support online from the people from that show. That was probably the best reception I have experienced at a show.

If you could perform with any artist, who would you choose?

Cannibal Corpse, mainly because of the insane mosh pits that they draw to their shows with their testosterone-filled 7 ft fans; I would love to get the same energy and aggression brought to our performance from playing with a band such as Cannibal Corpse.

Shrapnel also has their own website, where affordable products such as t-shirts, CDs, partches and vinyls are sold.
