Harvey Newstead
On Saturday 20th January 2018, Futsal Referee in Year 12, Harvey Newstead, officiated three England U17’s Squad Camp Friendlies, as the National side prepare for their Championship this summer.
He is currently the Chairperson of the Norfolk FA Young Referee Group and is now a Futsal Level 4 Referee. He said "Being Chairperson of the Norfolk FA Young Referee's Group is fantastic, I have 7 other committee members making up my team with them all having tasks and targets to hit throughout the season."
"The experience was amazing, and one I won't forget. I was delighted when I got the appointment through, and for a referee who has been officiating football for 4 seasons and someone who has only been a Futsal Referee for a season, I was shocked to be asked to officiate the England U17 Futsal Squad. "

I am going to three major youth tournaments in Portugal, Paris and in England over the next 6 months; doing my best and getting the best appointments I can will be my goal there!
