I wish to congratulate the NUS Tamil Language Society (NUSTLS) for continuing several key
activities for decades that positively impact the students and the Tamil community.
NUSTLS’s Sangae Muzhangu is an iconic show that started in 1987. It brings together the Tamil
and Indian students at NUS to showcase their talents and more importantly their innovative ideas. It has
enthralled thousands and has set a high benchmark in theatre and entertainment. The core spirit of the
organising the show goes beyond just entertainment to support the other activities such as the Saadhana
Tuition for Pre-University students and Tamil conferences. I am amazed at the perseverance of the students
who continue these programmes despite having to hand over the reins every year to a new committee.
SINDA is proud to support NUSTLS in its Saadhana programme together with SIET. We are sure
that the tuition programme will add great value to those doing their ‘A’ Level examinations. This in turn
impacts the Indian student performance at the national level enabling more to pursue their university
education. The Tamil community must appreciate that F
