Here's a little presentation of our towns: Lille Lille is a city in the North of France near Belgium. It is an important city because it’s the capital of the Nord-Pas-De-Calais region. This city and the surronding ones have more than 1 million inhabitants. The area of the city is around 40 km². There are a lot of monuments in Lille like the Charles de Gaulle’s house, the «Vieille Bourse» on the Grand Place, a Triumph Arc on a big giratory, the chamber of commerce, the belfry, the column of goddess, Rihour palace, the « porte de Roubaix », the Lille’s Cathedral, the « Lion d’or square », the theatre Sébastopol, and a lof of concert hall. The most important events in Lille are Lille 3000 (this is a great art festival), the braderie (it's the biggest European outdoor market) and the fair at the « esplanade des Anglais ».
