College-bound Class of 2020 Celebrates at Saint David ’ s
On Tuesday , June 11 , 2024 , Saint David ’ s Class of 2020 was able to come together and celebrate an occasion that had been four years coming . “ To graduate high school - and reflect with my former Saint David ’ s classmates on the time we had together - makes for a very special month ,” one college-bound student shared . “ I loved my high school years , but Saint David ’ s is where I developed the tools that brought me to this point .”
For the Class of 2020 , a Covid-spring interrupted what would have been a culminating Commencement event , but that four-year hiatus proved to be well worth the wait . “ We ( my classmates ) will always remember this occasion ,” another graduate shared . “ It ’ s a unique class and a unique year ; we will always have this bond .” The special event began with a Chapel talk by Eighth Grade Teacher Tom Ryan , who spoke about the bonds of family , and how Saint David ’ s will always be family to these graduates . •
