How can we empower women to fight Rape Culture and establish a healthy community?
Is the sexual abuse against women normalized and is the constantly fear of being raped. Women feel rape culture when man look at them in an inappropriate way, they start telling them not good words how pretty they are and more things in which women start to lose their confidence and security. Also with all this situations they start dressing the way they not want only because men are not going to continue saying all this inappropriate things. These is the wrong decision, because women should have the security and confidence to dress the way they like and feel beautiful and do not think what men and other people are going to say, do or think. We can empower women to fight rape culture in the way that every women that is not secure with their appearance or loss security make a campaign which all the women who have lost their security recover it, through a web page or blog in which all women are free to put their experience or history of why they changed their personality or their way of dressing because a man told them something about it
With this campaign the women are going to feel more comfortable because they notice they are not alone that they are many cases in which women are suffering because they have changed their essence since the opinion of other people,which is not correct, we always need to maintain who we are. With all these blogs in which women can decide if they want to publish daily or the day they feel that they need to write. The event that all this blogs are going to create is that female need to compromise and put up their voice that they do not need to change their appearance because they feel attacked with opinions, they need to say NO and be the way the feel nice and good.
In many situations they blame women for being raped because their clothes, they were drunk or the hour that they were in street was no accurate. They are not guilty, the only guilty is the rapist, he is the one that take the decision to make the action. They have the freedom of dress the way they feel secure, go out at the hour they deserve. We cannot change how the person is, they need to conserve their personality the way . The women need to be always confident and know who really they are because no one can change your essence because is something that you have from the beginning of our days and the opinion of no one can variate that.
Technology can empower women to say no to rape culture and form a healthy society. This is an union between all females who not feel comfortable with their physical and emotional feeling. So this is an compromise and a support they are receiving, to put up their voice and demonstrate that they can recover their confidence and security. “According to The Nation, one of the ten things to end rape culture is get media literate, because media is a product; someone imaginaded, created and implemented it.” (Moseley,2015) So this type of communications is one of the strongest factors to put an end to this inadequate culture which treats women as objects and judges them for what they wear.
Speaking is the best way to be noticed and demonstrate that what rapists are doing is completely unacceptable. Women with all the blogs put up their voice and with facts testify that many females all around the world have suffer this culture that shouldn't be allow or should not exist. “Reported by The Nation another thing that can end rape culture is speak up for what you really really want, because so much victim blaming relies on outdated ideas about women and men’s sexually, taking the time to figure out what you actually want from sex for yourself and learning how to speak about it can be a revolutionary act, and inspire others to follow suit.”(Moseley,2015).
