CETYS!

This past 3 rd of May 2019 the event named “Sarao en Primavera” happened on CETYS,
specifically on the university installations and garden. This famous and really well known
event consists in a fancy dinner and a concert, the special guest this time around was no
more and no less than David Bisbal; who is a famous Mexican singer. As you may suspect
the tickets went flying, even thought they aren’t cheap, on the contrary actually, each
ticket is around $20,000, so it is evident this is an event for the high class of Mexicali.
The purpose and cause of this event is to gather money for the scholarships the school
provides to its students. The event started at 7:00pm and it ended at 1:30pm, it was a
complete success, no problems or inconveniences occurred. Last year’s guest was the pop
music group called “Pandora”, it is evident this is a very serious and important event for
CETYS because of the attention and detail they give to it. The morning of the day of the
event half of the campus’s parking lot was unavailable, as consequence there was a lot of
traffic inside the campus and many students arrived late to class, also around 5:00pm
when the students of 6 th semester where taking their generation picture there was a lot of
stress present from the teachers and photographers because they wanted us to finish
earlier because of the event, as you can see “Sarao en Primavera” was top priority. If you
want to live this experience next year you better start saving.
