Little White Lies cover for On the Road - We really like how iconic this and most other little white lies magazine covers are, they are always eye-catching. Also, Little White Lies are known for covering quite independent artisitc films that have gripping plotlines so our film would fit in well. When doing target audience research we decided to use a more alternative charcter 'Jess' in order to attract the alternative youth 'tribe'. This tribe would be likely to read Little White Lies as it is a artistic and not so commercial film magazine. However, they often use well know starring charcters for the covers, i.e. Kirsten Stewart as shown here, as we cannot use a famous actress we feel our cover would not be as iconic as no one would know the main actress. Also, the magazine covers do not give too much away of the films plotline they simply use the main charcters to attract their audience, so with an unknown actor and nothing of our storyline hinted at the magazine cover may be unsuccessful at attacting our audience.
