Christoph Riegel: In addition to success, social commitment is something that sets FC Bayern apart from many others. It should always stay that way. Hans Behrend: I received a personal message from the club for my 85th birthday. I was absolutely delighted. That‘ s FC Bayern. And on the subject of humanity, let me come back to Kane. I was sceptical about the transfer at first, but he then said right from the start,“ I belong to you, we belong together – this is my club”. He immediately became one of us, without question. And that‘ s how he plays. Klaus Lunzner: Kane fits in with the FC Bayern family – and for me, FC Bayern is family: when I go to the Allianz Arena, I always bump into old friends. I love the sense of togetherness at this club. Ingrid Neumeier: The identity is that FC Bayern unites everyone. My grandson recently asked me what FC Bayern means to me. I then went through all the things we’ ve been discussing. He listened and said that yes, he agrees – and that you have to know everything about your club. For example, he even knows Jamal Musiala‘ s shoe size. HH: We want to learn, constantly, also and especially from our members: What can FC Bayern do even better? Ewald Manz: I once had a period in which I started to doubt my FC Bayern a little, but the turbulent times in the management are now over. I think it‘ s good that Jan-Christian Dreesen is staying on as CEO, the club‘ s senior management is top-notch – continuity is always key. That should be maintained. I‘ m sure that internal disruption also weighs heavily on the minds of some players. Klaus Lunzner: It‘ s hard for us to find something to complain about … Christoph Riegel: I’ d be interested to know how FC Bayern is actively involved in schools. Lars Voigt: I can tell you, for example, that basketball coaches from FC Bayern regularly came to our school to do sport with us. I thought that was terrific and it brought me closer to the club. HH: In general, the club maintains a comprehensive physical activity programme at facilities in Munich and the surrounding area. We also maintain school sponsorships with ″ Red against Racism“. Ilana Lubelski: Why do I have to pay for FC Bayern TV PLUS as a member? Klaus Lunzner: I understand that for economic reasons. And I also find the monthly amount affordable. Ilana Lubelski: Then I have another issue: Dietmar Hamann and Lothar Matthäus often annoy me with their opinions as pundits. How does FC Bayern react?
A moving story: Ilana Lubelski, born in Tel Aviv, has carried Bayern in her heart since childhood.
