Interviews

With Callum Shearer

For these interviews, we will have three different questions and be doing them with multiple different people, including adults and kids.

1.What was your favourite year of school?

Our First interviewee, Mathew (Adult) “I liked my university years from 2008-2012, graduating from high school was really big for me, in my first year I took open studies (an intro to university) and it was a good first exposure to university life.

Ken, our second interviewee is also an adult. “My best year was 2011, I was in the 8th grade, and it was my favorite grade because i met my best friend and started to follow my dreams of writing books.

And our third interviewee is Alyana (Kid)! “ My favorite year was grade one, because all the work was so simple and my teacher was so nice to me.

2. What was your worst year in school?

Mathew: “I didn’t like Junior High School, everyone was into junior sports teams and there was alot of picking teams, and I didn’t feel like I fit in much, I also struggled with running and feeling included and accepted.”

Ken: “I was in the 11th grade (high school) I believe, but it was my worst year because i worked with an english teacher was was certainly a big fan of poetry (which i didn’t really agree with), and he really poured this onto us students and it was just really annoying.

Alyana: “3rd grade was the worst year for me, I felt really depressed because I had just moved to a new school and had no friends there..

3. Did you have a best friend through all of school?

Mathew: “My best friend was honestly my sister. During everything we always stayed in touch and helped each other out alot.”

Ken: “I used to have a friend named Colton, me and him used t have science class together, he consistently inspired me to follow my dreams, and as a matter of fact we were roomates for a bit after our graduation. We still speak to each other to this day.”

Alyana: “I have a friend named Nicole. She is so inspiring and she always gives me a good laugh when she’s around.
