hat I see is that Apple and Google will create a Power of influence of our lives and interactions in the future. In fact, we are seeing this future technology all around us, but it will still take years or decades before it all matures.

It’s already possible to use

Siri to order a coffee. We are beginning to see big, Full-Screen phones, and augmented reality is becoming more mainstream.

Virtual reality is actually a thing. Virtual Reality is an immersive form of reality. Augmented Reality is an example of how technology has defined our interactions and environment.

For a time, Virtual Reality was stuff of the imagination of 1980s films and futuristic conspiracy. As mentioned before, The Matrix film series has largely influenced public perception of future development.

An interesting quote can be seen from VRFocus.com, where they spoke on this History Of Virtual Reality:

“ For a number of years the idea of VR was something of a laughing stock, a tech industry punchline. Arguably that changed at the brink of the new millennium – not through any technological leap, but when the film The Matrix was released. Featuring protagonist Neo who lives in a completely virtual world, the movie had a huge impact on viewers who looked forward to such a possibility in the future. The idea of VR breathed again.”

Existing technology will be redefined and redesigned to suit our future needs. For example, people will be able to order coffee by speaking voice commands to their phones, which will be all-screen devices with front cameras hidden behind the screen. Augmented reality will be an everyday way of accessing information and displaying it in the real world. Virtual reality is already shaping up to be the future of gaming. Products will be built from recyclable, environmentally friendly materials. Screens will probably be flexible and extremely thin. I believe that we are heading for a wireless future. We can also expect to see flying cars, holograms, and cheaper and more accessible ways to go into space, such as tourist vacations to space stations, moons, and even nearby planets such as Mars.

Screens on TVs, phones, computers, etc. are getting bigger and thinner.

Major technology companies are working on further developing and refining these technologies, as well as introducing new innovations, such as electric, eco-friendly flying cars, hoverboards, and holograms. People are even trying to make space travel easier and more accessible to people.

I expect to see flying cars in the 2030s, and accessible space travel in the 2050s or later. Don’t hold your breath though, technology takes time to develop and mature.
