ABOUT

THE ARTIST

My name is Alex McAllister. I am 15 years old.

About a year or two ago, I wanted to make a comic strip and cartoon series called Alexworld.

It was about me and my three best friends: My best friend since childhood, Dylan, my neighbor, Brandon, and my best friend’s best friend, Aeden.

Each character has their own personality and hoodie colors: Alex has a black hoodie with blue drawstrings and is an adventurous and kind person with anger management issues and an obsession for electronics and chocolate milk.

Dylan has an orange hoodie and is kind and active, and loves to play football,.

Brandon has a camo hoodie and is a trigger-happy military man who always carries guns around.

Aeden has a cyan hoodie and is a kind and respectful person who likes to play basketball. It was inspired by an internet cartoon/comic strip series called Eddsworld, made by British internet sensation Edd Gould (Who has since passed away, so I’m kind of intending to be a descendant of sorts).

The whole point of it is comedy, and to make it look like an averagely drawn cartoon (By that, I mean that the art style would be kind of bad, but not TOO bad, similar to the old art style of Eddsworld.) My main goal with this is to make people laugh, and to show them that looks can be deceiving, plus the fact that I want to keep Edd Gould’s legacy alive, and have some sort of spin-off of Eddsworld.

I even have autism, which also shows that you shouldn’t judge someone by mental disorders.

I hope everyone appreciates my comic, even with my simple art style.
