Noah Tells Us How It Is

This Issue:

The Philosopher’s Stone (Episode 1):

Harry Potter is a wizard who goes to a magic school as part of his destiny. He meets Ron and Hermione who become his friends and he also meets Draco who becomes his rival. This movie is awesome because it does an amazing job at introducing the audience to the magic world of Hogwarts.

The Chamber of Secrets (Episode 2):

Harry Potter discovers Tom Riddle, a student who went to Hogwarts and turned out to be Voldemort. He opens the Chamber of Secrets to battle Tom Riddle’s basilisk and destroy his diary and a part of his soul with it. This movie is awesome because it has all of the good elements of the first movie mixed with a lot of new elements (Tom Riddle’s basilisk, flying cars, teleportation and internet messaging in the form of a blank diary).

The Prisoner of Azkaban (Episode 3):

Harry Potter goes after a wrongly accused murderer named Sirius Black who just happens to be his godfather. Yeah, I don’t really get it either. This movie is arguably the greatest Harry Potter movie of all-time. Even though the franchise has only been around for 15 years. It’s not hard to see why people say that. This movie had some of the best action in any Harry Potter film.

The Goblet of Fire (Episode 4):

Harry Potter gets put in the Tri-Wizard tournament where there are dragons and freezing lakes and mazes. Edward Cullen dies and Voldemort is back. This movie is awesome because I’m pretty sure there hasn’t been a single person who didn’t enjoy the Tri-Wizard tournament. It’s awesome because there is so much stuff going on.

I didn’t know what to pick, but I think Goblet of Fire takes this one by a single planck length, because you just can’t beat the Tri-Wizard tournament.

The Order of the Phoenix (Episode 5):

Dumbledore gets fired by the Ministry of Magic and Dolores Umbridge takes over. Some stuff about some prophecy happens, and then Harry Potter breaks into the ministry and Sirius Black gets killed. I don’t want to talk about it.

The Half-Blood Prince (Episode 6):

Ron Weasley is good at quidditch, and some random guy loves his sister. Harry Potter recovers memories from an old Defense of The Dark Arts teacher about an important piece of magic called a Horcrux that allows you to split your soul. Harry Potter comes with Dumbledore on a mission to destroy one of Voldy’s horcruxes and then SPOILER ALERT: Snape kills Dumbledore. This movie is awesome because of all the things going on.

The Deathly Hallows (Episode 7):

First, I won’t count part 1 and part 2 of the Deathly Hallows. I will treat it like one movie. Anyways, Harry Potter and his friends travel Godrick’s Hollow to destroy a Horcrux.

They get caught by Bellatrix and Malfoy and Dobby the House Elf dies saving them. Harry Potter goes back to Hogwarts to destroy multiple horcruxes at the same time that an army attacks the school. Harry Potter commits suicide to destroy another Horcrux and then comes back to defend the school while Neville kills Voldemort’s pet snake and destroy the final Horcrux to defeat Voldy.

This movie is awesome because it does a good job of summing up the series.

I don’t approve of splitting the movie into two parts, but I can understand why they did it to stop the movie from being 5 hours long.

I still don’t know if I can forgive them. But I will give them the win any day.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Episode 0):

I’m one of the 56,000 people who got really excited over a little known trailer for a prequel to a very popular movie franchise. For whatever reason, everyone seems to hate prequels and sequels. It’s hard to create an origin story that just doesn’t seem “the same.” Here is a list of clichés for an origin story: Someone has been separated from someone they love, someone is able to take down a great force by complete luck, and I will list one more: It all seems like peace and harmony until something happens that brings attention in the next movie.

But this isn’t the case. Personally, I’m fascinated with magic. Magic seamlessly makes everything easier. And all you need to do is utter some spells and you’re good to go. That’s how it works, right? I’ve always wished there was some sort of sequel revolving around a side character that owns several mysterious beasts. But I never knew it would actually happen. And now I’m amazed. This was all I was dreaming of. And by some random miracle, it actually happened. Overall, I would give this trailer a 10/10.
