And a second movie came out, though not as popular, it was still a hit.
A few spinoff games also came out, but soon,,,,,,,..Gold and Silver got an American version.
The game improved on the first game in every way, Time, calendar, Berries, COLOUR!!!! But it wasn’t as big of a hit as the original. It only got TWO spin offs, A GBC puzzle game, and Stadium 2.
Stadium 2 also improved on the original in everyway, and was just as popular as stadium 1, utilizing new features to push ever further.
But Pokemania…..was dying.
A third and fourth movie, a new manga version, and MOAR cards couldn’t stop the decline.
But, a third version was being made, known simply as….PROJECT CRYSTAL!
Pokemon Crystal version came out, and was an improved gold and silver, adding moving pokemon, more story, and the first ever Battle Tower. Not to mention in Japan, the fancy GB Phone add on, using Phone Tech to allow online battling, trading, news, and events.
Internet without Internet
It used new Cell phone tech (The old brick sized ones) to utilize NATIONAL NETWORKS!! To send info and download dlc. It was also used in a few other games, like MK SC. But it was too specialized , and too few people used it, and it failed and went nowhere.
.By This point however, it was over……A 5th movie came out, ever more merchandise, and the Tv Show staying strong. Not to mention in Japan, two new versions known as Ruby and Sapphire version were released.
But it was over.
