I have agreed to interview Matt Cho. Why did I do that? I mean, I love doing interviews and I’m sure he’s a really cool guy and all. I just don’t know that much. Had to go digging in old versions of the AAFS website just to make sure I was thinking of the right person. I was. We became staff at about the same time, but I don’t think we worked together very often.
Anyway. I remember him being a pretty chill guy. If this tiny bio from the AAFS site in 2012 is any indication, we may have some stuff in common. Both of us have a sibling who’s been a member for a long time, which I guess gives…a certain perspective. An ability to recognize the impact of AAFS’ approach in a particular way. It’ll be interesting to talk to someone who’s been floating around here as long as I have but has never been a member himself.
I typed some questions on my phone earlier when I couldn’t get back to sleep. There are a few good ones but some of them need reworking. I didn’t realize how long he’s been around. I’ll have to ask him about what he’s doing now – I know he studied psychology, and that’s pretty much it.
