–10 shots -Bare Plate
–10 shots –½” 10% FBI Grade Ballistic Gel
–10 shots –½” 10% FBI Grade Ballistic Gel with burlap covering
•Each shot force curve was logged with time domain resolution of 0.00002s(Basically the total amount of force exerted over that time period).
•For simplicity, only the plots using the ½” gel were used for this analysis. The plots for the Gel + Burlap were similar, but with even less peak force. The plots for the bare plate were too difficult to model to calculate area.
