Is MagFed Always MilSim?

forge tactical

Wikipedia: MilSim is an abbreviation for military simulation and refers to military simulation by civilians for entertainment purposes. There are several types of MilSim, airsoft, paintball, video games simulating military scenarios, and tactics.

The MagFed marker is designed in a MilSim manner. It looks and feels like a real firearm. It emulates the weapons used in militaries around the world, present day and past. This promotes the feel and simulation of the military, SWAT units, etc. The gear worn on the field by the players of the game further enhances this. There is a wide selection of gear and markers on the market; some of which promote the MilSim genre. Some examples are MollE vests and Mag pouches. You need these to carry the numerous magazines to support the action of the MagFed marker, as well as helmets for the crazy action a player may encounter. Camouflage uniforms of all kinds with different patterns and colors help you blend into

the environment. Some players use

the gear from their speedball games.

There is nothing wrong with

this; they are just going to

be a bit brighter than

the player who wears

camouflage. Some

players use their

bright clothing as a

distraction; it is all

about the tactics. I

invite players to use

their imaginations when

selecting their gear. Just

think about the scenario,

remember you have to carry

it. The question remains,

is MagFed always MilSim?
