Spring is in the Air

It’ s that time of year again, when we all start getting out of the house and enjoying the great outdoors.
In this month’ s issue of the Madison Magazine, we will look at some great ways to spend time outdoors and prepare for the spring season. The beginning of spring is cause for celebration. In many areas of the world, the start of spring marks the end of cold temperatures and hours spent indoors, a shift in conditions that is welcomed by millions each year.
Pets bring many positive changes to households. Pets can make homes more lively, and the companionship of animals can reduce feelings of loneliness while offering additional health benefits to pet owners. Individuals who are preparing to adopt or purchase pets need to be mindful that they may need to make changes at home to ensure residences are safe places for pets to
reside.
KY Boats is ready to make you spring and summer outdoor adventure dreams a reality. Owned by dynamic husband and wife team Mendi and Jerry Goble, KY Boats has quickly established itself as a go-to destination for boat lovers since its inception in 2018, transitioning from its former identity as Journey Auto and Boats. The Gobles have expanded their reach by acquiring another boating business in New Richmond, Ohio.
Millions of children spend a significant portion of their summers at camp. The American Camp Association reports that 26 million children enroll in summer camp each year, and many of those youngsters make memories that last a lifetime while building lifelong friendships along the way. Camps have arguably become even more important in recent decades as more and more households have featured two working parents.

Silver Creek Bike Park is 3.5 mile( and growing) network of bike trails, jump lines, and a pumptrack located on JC Chambers Rd. In Berea. The park was once a part of the city’ s industrial park, but the land wasn’ t suitable for development. In 2020 it was decided by the Berea City Council that it would be developed for recreational use instead, and the Bike Park was born.
Dreaming Creek Farm, found off of Union City
Road just a few minutes drive from downtown Richmond, is a new premier event destination in Madison County, offering services for weddings, anniversaries, even business meetings. Dreaming Creek Farm, named after the creek of the same name that was named by Daniel Boone, was created by Gerald Jones as a way to pursue his passion of cooking for the community.
I hope this issue of Richmond Register’ s Madison Magazine will inspire to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors.
