CHOCOLATE BAKED FRENCH TOAST
INGREDIENTS : 12 Croissants , chopped 12 oz Mini Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips 8 oz Cream Cheese 8 Eggs 2 c Milk ½ c Heavy Cream ½ c Sugar 2 tbs Vanilla ¼ tsp Salt
PREPARATION : Spray baking dish with cooking spray . Cut croissants up into bite-size pieces . Layer half of them into the bottom of the prepared pan . Sprinkle half of the mini chocolate chips over the croissants . Cut the cream cheese into small squares . Distribute half over the croissants and chocolate chips . Place the remaining croissants , chocolate chips and cream cheese into the pan . In a large mixing bowl , whisk together the eggs , milk , heavy cream , sugar , vanilla and salt until thoroughly combined . Gently pour and evenly distribute the egg mixture over the entire pan . Cover and refrigerate overnight . Preheat oven to 360 degrees , remove cover and bake for 50 minutes . Serve warm .
