else,” she said. People may seek to attain healthier re- lationships through coaching with Eth- ridge, either as individuals or with their partners. She offers phone coaching ses- sions so that she can help anyone from anywhere in the world, but also is avail- able right in Richmond for those inter- ested in face-to-face sessions. Ethridge is able to work with clients worldwide because she chose to be a Christian Life Coach, rather than pursuing licensure as a professional therapist. This way, she is not limited to coaching clients in her state of residency.  In addition to coaching, Ethridge of- fers speaking presentations. She will custom-tailor these presentations to the audience, whether it is for a college audience, co-ed youth group, women’s conference, or couples’ conference.  Women seeking deeper, more intensive coaching and relational breakthrough may find their place in a “Women at the Well” workshop. During these 4-day workshops, 8-10 participants stay on- site (typically at an AirBnb) and com- plete a series of group coaching experi- ences in an environment of healing and trust. As her website notes, “Because we’ve most often been wounded in re- lationship, we also experience the most healing in relationship.”  There is a similar offering for couples wishing to pursue coaching together, for a 4-day intensive workshop titled “Cou- ples at the Well.” Ethridge said, “We’ll host 3-4 Women at the Well Workshops here in Richmond this year, and 2 in Tyler, Texas.”  There will also be a couples’ workshop this coming May in Placencia, Belize. “My husband, Dr. Charlie Myers (pro- fessor of counseling at EKU) and I are just a little (okay, a LOT) excited about hosting that one together on the pristine beaches of Naia Resort & Spa,” she said. Ethridge loves interacting with people through her ministry. “Working directly with people, either face to face or over the phone, is what makes me come alive, so working with coaching clients, leading workshops, and speaking publicly about these sensitive issues are definitely my main priorities,” Shannon Ethridge with therapy dogs she said.  Gracie and Polly.
