As you may have heard , for the first time in our organization ’ s history , the Madison County Chamber of Commerce was voted Indiana Chamber of the Year for 2024 by the Indiana Chamber Executives Association . This is an incredible honor , and it ’ s a true testament to the teamwork and innovation that the Chamber staff has shown over the last few years .
However , this achievement has posed a new challenge to our team . We have created a culture in our office around the mantra “ What ’ s Next ?” In other words , how can we continue to build on past momentum to create new opportunities for our member businesses ? With that

mindset , we are excited to roll out several new initiatives in 2025 to continue making strides in Madison County .
We are taking action on talent attraction in 2025 to ensure that our businesses have the top-level workforce that they need . We are one of a handful of counties participating in a pilot program of student ambassadors through Ball State University to better tell our story on the career opportunities and quality-ofplace amenities that we have here . Additionally , building on the promotions being run through the Indiana Destination Development Corporation , we are launching a talent attraction campaign outside of Indiana to let those considering a move

know about all we have to offer . Attracting talent is a huge focus , but we are also doubling down on building our entrepreneurial base here . Through a partnership with InerG Impact co-working and the support of a $ 40,000 grant from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation , we are taking part in a countywide initiative to provide wraparound support for those budding business owners to take them from concept to career . We are also proud to host Performance University alongside Performance Groupan educational summit designed to allow entrepreneurs time to work on their business , not just in their business . Our goal is to provide |
dedicated time for participants to step back from the daily grind and focus on big-picture goals and growth strategies .
These partnerships and collaborations are just a few of the programs we are excited to be involved with in 2025 . Our past successes have shown that Madison County is a community on the move , and we are excited to be playing our role in making this region the best in the state !
