CHAMBER AMBASSADORS HELP
CONNECT BUSINESSES
The Madison County Chamber Ambassadors is a group of recognized professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to communicate with members of the business community , and to provide information and answer questions about the Chamber of Commerce , our programs and our services .
The Ambassadors have a unique opportunity to bring attention and relevance to the Chamber and to their own member firms , while at the same time enhancing the public relations and communication efforts of the Chamber .
This group is among the most vital programs the Chamber has to offer as it demonstrates directly to the community the impact a unified business community can have .
Ambassadors are essential to the vision , mission and purpose of the Chamber and are selected on the basis of the individual ’ s interest , dependability , integrity , energy and communication skills .
Chamber Ambassadors have a wide variety of responsibilities , including welcoming new members , encouraging current members to maximize benefits , aiding staff in maintaining / retaining membership , and acting as liaisons for open communication between members and Chamber staff .
While recruitment of new members is important , the Chamber ’ s primary role is to provide support and resources to our existing members . The Ambassadors help fulfill that mission by serving as advisors to the Chamber staff , bringing their professional expertise to help guide the direction of the Chamber by providing feedback on programming content and advocacy priorities .
They also help to familiarize the community at large with
the Chamber and our services and benefits . By connecting the members with these services ,
