Work / life philosophy : I can think of no higher aspiration than to lead a purpose-driven life and to be a true servant leader .
MADDIE DAILEY Company / organization : Madison Dailey Agency , LLC ( American Family Insurance ) and Scrunchies by Maddie Position / titles : Agency Owner / Small Business Owner What else are you involved with : I graduated from Elwood High School in 2018 and am a recent graduate from Manchester University with a business management degree . During my time at Manchester , I was a part of the College of Business Club for four years and became the director of our Community Outreach Committee where I led biweekly meetings to help organize events on campus . I look forward to becoming involved in various organizations and committees in and around my community . Work / life philosophy : After my first year of college , I started my own small business selling handmade scrunchies and headbands to help pay for my expenses . My business took off for me in January 2020 when I released headbands , and I now have a following of over 13,500 on my Facebook group . I have always been very passionate about helping others and serving my community . Following graduation in June 2022 , I accepted a position with American Family Insurance and began my journey as a new business owner of Madison Dailey Agency , LLC .
CAITLIN MCGUIRE Company / organization : Raymond James Position / titles : Senior Client Service Associate Work Responsibilities : I ’ ve spent my 18-year career in the financial services industry building relationships with clients based on trust and confidence in my abilities . I ’ m often referred to as the anchor of our team and oversee the daily operations of the Anderson office . I provide handson support to financial advisors and timely strategies to clients ’ unique and often complex needs . What else are you involved with : In May 2022 I became a placement for a high school senior in foster care practically overnight . I enjoy watching him play football on Friday nights and helping out with his team ’ s Parent Club . I ’ ve served on the Board of Directors for the Anderson Education Foundation since 2012 . From 2014-2019 I co-chaired the Anderson Miles for Myeloma Golf Outing , raising over $ 120,000 for multiple myeloma research through IU Simon Cancer Center . I currently help with the Annual John Worsham Golf Classic and silent auction benefiting the ALS Association and ALS Closet . Earlier this spring I was sworn in as a court appointed special advocate for foster children with East Central Indiana CASA for a second time . This fall I ’ m teaming up with friends for a Women Build with Habitat for Humanity Madison County . I was also recently selected as a local celebrity dancer for the upcoming 15th Annual Dancing Like the Stars fundraiser benefiting the Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom . Work / life philosophy : My philosophy in life , and in work , is to always treat others with kindness and respect . I get a sense of pride and accomplishment each day , knowing I ’ ve been able to help our clients . I believe life isn ’ t well spent unless I have a positive impact on those around me .
MATTHEW BOYLAND Company / organization : City of Elwood Fire Department Position / titles : Captain , Department Training Officer , Firefighter / AEMT What else are you involved with : Hinds D25 Career Center – lead instructor for fire and rescue and EMS classes , District 6 fire training instructor 2 / 3 , certified CPR and first aid instructor , youth football coach Work / life philosophy : I believe there is always room for improvement in my career and have an open mind for continuous learning . I enjoy the bond and camaraderie I have built with my crew and department . I enjoy working with and learning from them . I strive for proficiency in all skill sets required as a firefighter , and this philosophy spills over to my teaching role as well . I am passionate about my career as a first responder and strive to help and positively impact the community I serve .
