PLANNING PROVIDES MOMENTUM FOR YEARS TO COME
Throughout 2021 , the Chamber has seen a flurry of activity that reinforced our reputation as the go-to entity for business in Madison County . With record-setting membership growth numbers , a new website designed to help local merchants have a voice against e-commerce giants , and a new healthcare plan specifically to help offset costs for small business , it is undeniable the Chamber has proven itself as a leadership institution in Madison County .
However , none of these achievements will have nearly as wide an impact as the adoption of our new Madison County Chamber 2025 Strategic Plan . The result of countless hours of work by our board of directors , ambassadors and staff – this new plan has set the vision for the Chamber upon four main pillars of strength : advocacy , economic development , collaboration and business resources .
Within economic development , we will continue our strategic alignment with the Corporation for Economic
Chamber DC Fly in this year with Congresswoman Spartz and Senator Braun .
Development to partner on development projects that improve the overall economic vitality and community vibrancy of our region .
As the leading voice for businesses , we will continue to promote for public policies that foster a pro-business environment . Using our established reputation , we will grow our advocacy efforts in targeted areas specific to improving value offered to the business community .
Collaboration is arguably what the Chamber does best . We ’ ve always been strong in making connections . Now we will collaborate with partners to seek solutions and bring together community influencers to identify major challenges we must overcome for the future growth of Madison County . Whether it ’ s a quality-of-life issue or recruiting a new business to our area , we are stronger working together for the benefit of our region .
Finally , we are committed to providing a wide array of business resources to help remove barriers and improve operations so our county can perform at its top level . Whether it ’ s affordable healthcare , networking and advertising options , or content-based programs and events , the Chamber is committed to making it easier to do business in Madison County .
These pillars will be the foundation of our successes for years to come , and we are excited to see how the Madison County business community will grow together .
