“ We ’ re looking to open another new store in Ohio this year and possibly one in Indiana ,” he said .
According to Coomer , Madison County continues to be “ an outstanding place to do business .”
“ We have over 200 employees in our Indiana business ,” said Coomer . “ And with the tenure that we have , I ' ve been able to reinvest back into Madison County .”
Coomer explained that he appreciates having the opportunity to give back to his hometown , where he and his stores have experienced success .
“ Madison County is our family , and that ' s where we grew up ,” he said . “ That ' s our roots . We ' ve been successful there .” For Coomer , the secret to success has been establishing relationships with his employees and associates .
April Foster , director of operations for Coomer ' s Indiana Pizza Hut stores , takes care of a customer at the North Anderson location .
“ To be successful , you have to be able to take care of those people and understand their needs –– understand what ' s important ,” he noted .
One of those people is Coomer ’ s director of operations for Indiana stores , April Foster , who has worked alongside him for 17 years .
“ He ’ s not a boss –– he ’ s a leader ,” Foster said . “ He will not ask you to do anything that he hasn ' t done before .”
