MADEUS maliz mahop “Mentorship to me is a two-way relationship. If you’re looking for them to only give to you, you are looking for a suga mama and not a mentor. As a mentee, it’s important that we don’t always look to our mentors as what they can do for us. Volunteer your time at their events, share their businesses on social media, go out of your way to support them because they need you too. With that same mentality, pour into those behind you. You have a duty be a mentor to lift as you climb.” jessica lashawn “I have seven mentors and I’m a professional mentor. Mentorship is all about having a pipeline of current and relevant knowledge that assists with the development of myself and my business. Mentoring is more so for the development of your soul/mind and utilization of your time rather than being told what to do.” valerie charnett “The best advice I’ve received from a mentor is to partner with those around me and on my level. So often we aim to collaborate with those that have MADE it instead of those making a way for themselves. I believe those that are in the current grind just may be a tad bit hungrier than those that have already hit the top floor.” portia king “The best advice I've received from a mentor is to always be prepared and do your research. If you stay ready you never have to get ready." #mademaven 65
