HOW TO RAISE
YOUR PRICES
Angela C. Styles
Usually at the beginning
of a new year or quarter
is a good time to raise
rates. Also, creating
multiple price options is a
great way to not exclude
people, but also offering
incentives with higher
prices makes customers
want to buy the better
“deal.” Also, with
products, the $0.99 or
$0.95 is more attractive
than the full dollar
i.e. $19.95 vs $20.00.

1 or 5 cents.
to deadlines, consider high impact to-do’s that
can be monumental to your success. Typically,
preparatory items such as your resume, pitch
deck, media kit or a capabilities deck don’t trump
urgent deliverables, but can yield the highest
results.
Do more of what you’re good at. Delegate to
others what you’re not good at.
It’s easy to try to do everything yourself to save
time or money, however this is not always the
best use of your time or talents. Find professionals
who are better than you to do tasks that may not
maximize your skillset. This not only makes better
use of your time, but it allows you to enjoy what
you are doing more.
«HOW TO BE PRODUCTIVE
Kris Christian
Prioritize your to-do list
based on the most beneficial
outcome.
It’s easy to do the things
you want to do first, but
these deliverables may not
be the items that should
be done based on your
immediate goals. In addition
Designate specific times for certain tasks.
Multi-tasking sounds attractive, but it’s an
ineffective way to be productive. Focus your
attention by categorizing your tasks and assigning
certain hours to complete them. For example, in
the morning while you create your list of to-dos,
in the afternoons complete creative work and at
three designated times during the day, answer
emails and make phone calls. Avoid disruptions by
turning off your phone during appropriate times
or muting social media notifications
