MADELIFE MADEXXX TIFFANY RENEE WARREN Author & Entrepreneur @tiffanyreneewarren WHEN YOUR SELF-ESTEEM NEEDS A BOOST... There are three components that play into your self-esteem: how God sees you, how you see yourself and how others see you. We all at some point or another, whether by circumstance or happenstance run low on the barometer of our self-esteem. Every once in a while, we will need a boost. Here are three tips on how to boost yourself esteem. 1. Always go back to the original blueprint of who you are – our identity is in God and the Holy Bible is the blueprint that tells us our true identity and self-worth. Scriptures like Psalm 139:14 and Jeremiah 29:11 are good foundational scriptures to meditate on. and don’t feel bad for taking time for self- care – many times you will need that “me” time; a time of self-reflection 2. Start being good to yourself and to be refreshed. You can’t be everything to everyone. Believe it or not, working out, eating right, and getting an adequate amount of rest helps boost your self-esteem. That also means don’t compare yourself to others. You are uniquely you for a reason. Take that time to really identify what you are gifted and purposed to do. When you do that, you will be unstoppable. 3. Change your perception about yourself even if it’s not a reality yet - Don’t try to live up to the standards of other people; it’s okay that you’re not perfect and don’t always have it together. Our perception can tell a thousand truths or a thousand lies. Be conscious of what you’re telling yourself about yourself. Don’t be ashamed or afraid to become the person you want to be. It’s not impossible, it’s just a process. Remember that no one can be better at being you than you; you’re original and that’s great. #mademaven 45
